Body Paint

While washing STELLAR a week ago, I noticed several paint bulges at different places.

Some peeling were also apparent.

I think just doing a respray is not enough. The car needs total paint stripping.

I am now learning to do it. A slow learning. I haven't even started.

But before all those, the floorboard needs attention too. And the front bumper, probably needs treatment, or better/worse yet, a replacement.

Car Wash

Finally the repairment brought STELLAR alive again. Picked him up last night.

Thought of giving him a shining car wash. Found a spot to do just that near Bangi, just outside Putrajaya Gate 1.

He really shines afterwards, and it did blind my eyes.

New Skin

This is STELLAR in his new skin.

By the way, that's my other uncle, not the painter specialist.

Picture taken at kampong, still in painting garage, waiting for full polishing to finish.

The Message

I'm currently in Lumut. Was just about to start eating dinner.

The message was received at 8pm just now. It was my painter uncle. He said the paint job was done, and he just started polishing it. I couldn't be happier. In two days' time, I shall be on my way to Terengganu to fetch him.

I hope I have chosen the right colour for him. I hope it suits him.

Colour Confusion

When you read this, I will probably have reached Kuantan or something.

I will head to Terengganu after today's Friday prayers.

The painting of STELLAR will probably commence next week. To be done by dearest Pak Su. I will pick him up three weeks later. That's my budgeted time anyway.

Will be back on Wednesday, although I'll might already arrived to Putrajaya by flight on Tuesday.

I'm actually feeling quite nervous looking forward to this trip. It's been a while since STELLAR went for a long distance run.

He still looks stunning in black. But the stickers are somewhat off-putting. Hehe.

But I realised, eventually he will need his coat of paint anyway.

PS: Believe it or not, I'm still open to options on the colour. But I guess blue is good.
